Palythoa Grandis Care Guide

• Lighting: Moderate to high. They appreciate bright LED or T5 aquarium lights but can adapt to less intense lighting.
• Placement: Place them on rockwork or substrate, mid to lower areas of the tank are preferred. Give them room to expand as they grow!
• Water Flow: Moderate flow is best to keep detritus off the polyps and promote healthy growth.
• Feeding: Largely photosynthetic but benefit from occasional supplemental feeding (target-feed with zooplankton or fine particulate coral food).
• Water Parameters: Salinity 1.024–1.026, Temp 75–80°F, pH 8.1–8.4, stable alkalinity and calcium.
